We had the combination pho and pork chops with tomato rice. The pho was very good, really flavourful broth and plenty of good quality meats. The pork chop dish was tasty, but there was a lot of fat and bones on the pork chops so there wasn't actually a lot of meat even though the portion appeared big. The side salad had a creamy sesame dressing which I thought was a bit odd as it's not even Vietnamese (tasted just like the Japanese kewpie one). The pickled carrot and daikon were tasty enough, and the dish was served with a bowl of nuoc cham, so why bother with the sesame dressing. It took quite a long time for the food to come out, with the pho coming 5min after the pork chop dish. Prices are significantly more expensive than most other Vietnamese restaurants which serve food at least as good as this place. So overall not bad but not sure I'd come back anytime soon.

I went here for dinner today and it was honestly one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I’ve tried in Sydney — and I’ve been to a lot! It’s great to finally have such high-quality Vietnamese food in the Hills area, long overdue! I got the combination pho, which was humongous and loaded with big, juicy pieces of beef balls, brisket, and sliced beef. The noodles, broth, and veggies were all plentiful. The broth was super clean-tasting with perfectly balanced seasoning. Also tried the grilled pork with vermicelli noodles and greens, which was amazing — the meat had that nice chargrilled flavour, and the net spring roll was so delicious: crispy on the outside with a beautifully seasoned filling. Highly recommend this place — I’ll definitely be back as a regular!

It’s great to see more of the restaurants we used to travel outside the Hills for finally opening closer to home. We used to visit Anh Viet in Eastwood, so having it here in the Hills is a real win. The combination grilled pork with flat noodles is a must‑try. The flavours are spot on, though I do wish the flat noodles were a bit thinner. The Vietnamese iced coffee was bold and generous, especially for the price. Compared to places like Co Ba in Marrickville, where you get lots of ice and barely any coffee, this was a pleasant surprise. For dessert, we ordered the coconut ice cream, which was excellent. You can really taste the coconut without it being overpowering. A quick tip: come early when the restaurant opens, otherwise you’ll likely be joining a long queue.

Had a lovely dinner with friends tonight! Was packed for a Monday night. Nice atmosphere and could talk without yelling. Lovely large portions and each dish was fresh and punchy with flavor! Tried the pork and crab nem rolls. These were delicious and crispy while being light at the same time, the crispy chicken was on point and the skin was definitely crispy like cracking glass, followed by a signature pork chop diy rice paper platter . Mains was pho and pork chop with tomato rice! Was a great dinner and will be back!

Really good quality Vietnamese noodles with rich and flavourful broth. You can really taste that the broth has been slow-cooked and full of depth. The beef was also very good quality. The crispy chicken was another highlight – super crispy on the outside and very tasty. Of course, the price reflects the quality, but overall it was a really satisfying meal. Definitely a place I would come back to.

Excellent authentic Vietnamese food that we have come to expect from an Viet, now in castle Hill. Fresh ingredients, generous portions and authentic taste. Service could be more attentive. Had to try really hard to catch the wait staff's attention at times.

Queued for half an hour and food was a bit slow in coming out but it was SO WORTH IT. We had pho, bun cha and the grilled platter. So delicious. They’re also super generous with the $5 discount voucher. I WILL BE BACK!! Edit: Went back, STILL DELICIOUS! This time we tried the bun bo hue and rice paper roll platter. So good. This might be my new favourite restaurant.

We visited on a weekday for lunch and were seated, but it wasn’t made clear that orders were placed via QR code. It took some time for someone to take our order. We ordered the DIY platter and spring rolls, which arrived promptly and tasted fresh and delicious. Paying at the counter was easy. We returned after shopping for dessert and were seated again without menus, so we had to collect them ourselves. We ordered the mango sticky rice, which was average and not something I would recommend. Overall, the food was good but the service needs improvement, including clearer communication about ordering and menu items.
